Thank you to everyone who came out to AAP's 6th annual #FearlessFirst Celebration as part of National First-Generation College Student Day that recognizes the achievements and unique strengths first-generation students bring to campus.
Stay tuned for details about the gallery walk planned by the Division of Student Affairs. Photographs and stories will be featured in the display, curated by Multicultural Involvement Community Advocacy staff in Stamp, to highlight the experiences of the nearly one in five UMD undergraduates who are first-generation students.
And be sure to check out a book by a First-Generation author (now also on display in the Portico Room 2109 of McKeldin Library).
